AntwortenLöschenyeah, he is mine aswell. Without any doubt. You talked about street smarts...I am not sure how to translate it accurately, but I think he got that too. I would explain it like that: He is not just a reader and talker, he knows pretty well what he is writing about. All the fear, all the violence he saw it all, he got it all. Have you read "A star in a distance" (estrella distante)? That marvellous little novel is just pure perfection. like a raw jewel. whenever I reread some passages, I wish that I'd written it.
